NEED NEW INFORMATON HERE
Being a member of the Iqaluit Humane Society isn't just about walking dogs. The IHS values the dedicated individuals who have supported and helped us over the years. 2011 marks a monumental year of change for the Society. We are restructuring our organization from the ground up. The Board of Directors has been expanded and new committees formed. We want you, the community, to play a part in how this Society grows and evolves. Whether you're a new recruit or a long time member everyone has a voice. This is a new beginning and we welcome you to partake in the evolution of the territory's only Animal Humane Society.
The IHS now offers a quick and easy way to become a brand new member or renew your current or outdated one. It's a simple three step process that goes as follows:
Step 1 - Fill out the Membership/Renewal Form
If this is your first time signing up with the organization, simply select the New Membership option. If you've filled out a paper application in the past just select the Membership Renewal option. The rest is self explanatory. Once you get that all filled out move on to Step 2.

Mailing List:
In an effort to cut down on the amount of communication you receive from us you have the option to opt in or out of email communication. Bear in mind we have taken measures to ensure general correspondence is kept at a respectable level. We have a newsletter that will be distributed quarterly and will contain all kinds of news and information about what's going on in the IHS. Committee members and chairs should expect to be involved with more daily and weekly communication based solely on the amount of work on hand. If you choose to opt out you will receive correspondence only when there is a general assembly or AGM (Annual General Meeting) date set.
